About the Role

Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building a robust financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a meticulous and driven Data Entry Officer to join our dynamic operations team in Edo State (specifically targeting candidates residing in Oredo and Ikpoba Okha). In this role, you will ensure that customer accounts, product catalogues, inventory records, and pricing data are accurately maintained within our platforms, enabling fast go-lives and reliable reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Input, update, and maintain merchant data, including product catalogues, SKUs, pricing, inventory levels, and customer profiles.
  • Process bulk data imports from spreadsheets and CSV files, rigorously validating format and completeness before upload.
  • Prepare merchant accounts ahead of onboarding by populating required product and inventory data within agreed timelines.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to identify and correct data errors, duplicates, or outdated records across multiple systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of data entry activities, import logs, and correction history within our CRM.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Onboarding Specialists and Account Managers to fulfill ad-hoc data requests within SLA windows.

Qualifications
  • 1 - 3 years of professional experience in data entry, data operations, or a similar role within SaaS, retail tech, or fintech.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of maintaining high accuracy across large data volumes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including data cleaning and functions like VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, POS systems, or back-office SaaS tools.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
  • Must be based in Edo State, preferably around Oredo and Ikpoba Okha.
