About the Role
Premiere Urgence Internationale (PUI) is an international, non-profit, apolitical humanitarian organization that assists civilian victims of natural disasters, conflicts, and economic crises. We are currently seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Guard to join our team in Nigeria to safeguard our facilities, staff, and property.
Key Responsibilities- Control access to PUI premises by screening all visitors, checking for authorized entry, issuing visitor tags, and maintaining accurate visitor logs.
- Conduct regular patrols around the perimeter fence and designated areas to deter intruders and ensure overall site security.
- Monitor and record vehicle movements, manage parking, and ensure compound doors, windows, and gates are securely locked.
- Operate and maintain basic facility equipment such as generators, water pumps, and fire extinguishers while keeping accurate logbooks.
- Report any security incidents, suspicious activities, or maintenance issues immediately to the Logistics Officer following established communication protocols.
- Minimum of a First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) with at least 1 year of proven security experience.
- Strong vigilance, situational awareness, and the ability to respond calmly during emergencies.
- Basic communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate handwritten logs and reports.
