About the Role
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, a leading food and agro-allied company in Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and strategic Security Manager to lead our comprehensive safety and protection operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our personnel, protecting vital company assets, and maintaining operational integrity to support our long-term business objectives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Compile the company's annual security plans, strategies, and comprehensive work programs.
- Develop, refine, and implement robust security policies, processes, and procedures while ensuring effective dissemination to all stakeholders.
- Implement stringent measures and procedures for securing business facilities and premises to guarantee the physical safety of employees and visitors.
- Formulate contingency plans, emergency procedures, and incident responses to efficiently manage unexpected security situations.
- Periodically evaluate the efficacy of existing security infrastructure, including CCTV systems, communication devices, and access control protocols.
- Conduct regular security audits to identify operational gaps and develop comprehensive risk management assessments.
- Oversee continuous monitoring and protection of facilities and personnel while evaluating suspected security breaches to recommend corrective actions.
- Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Security Management, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of cognate security management experience, preferably within a large-scale manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Prior experience in law enforcement or a related specialized security field will be considered a strong added advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, emergency response planning, and physical security infrastructure evaluation.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
