About the Role
Smart Class Hotel & Suite, in partnership with premier hospitality advisory firm Wertvoll Consulting Services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Manager to join our dynamic team in Aji–Enugu Ezike, Enugu State. In this critical safety role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our guests, staff, and physical assets while maintaining a secure, welcoming environment that aligns with our high hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive security policies, procedures, and emergency response protocols for the hotel.
- Supervise, train, and schedule security personnel to ensure round-the-clock vigilance and professional guest service delivery.
- Monitor surveillance systems, conduct regular safety patrols, and proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Liaise effectively with local law enforcement agencies and community security networks to maintain a peaceful and protected environment.
- Investigate security incidents, compile detailed incident reports, and recommend preventive measures to management.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant occupational health and safety regulations across the property.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven security management experience, preferably within the hospitality or service sector.
- Relevant academic qualifications in security management, criminology, law enforcement, or a related field.
- Exceptional crisis management, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse security team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Physical fitness and readiness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
