Key Responsibilities- Monitor campus premises, gates, and facilities to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism.
- Conduct regular patrols across university grounds, residential halls, and academic buildings to ensure safety.
- Manage visitor logs, verify credentials, and direct guests appropriately upon entry.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, security breaches, or disturbances, taking appropriate action and reporting incidents to management.
- Enforce university security policies and safety regulations consistently across the campus.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to resolve security issues.
- Proven physical fitness and professional capability to perform rigorous security-related duties effectively.
- Minimum of a secondary school certificate (SSCE) or equivalent relevant security training and certifications.
- Prior experience in a security, military, or paramilitary role within an educational or corporate environment is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional observational skills, situational awareness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Accuracy in reporting and ability to follow standard operating procedures meticulously.
