About the Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team at DCT Okpella. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding company property, personnel, and visitors by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring assigned areas to ensure a secure operating environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and control access to premises to prevent unauthorized entry
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter illegal activities
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
- Monitor surveillance equipment and report suspicious activities
- Enforce company security policies and standard operating procedures
- Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
- Assist employees and visitors with security guidelines and procedures
- Minimum of an OND or HND in Security Management, Criminology, Business Administration, or related fields
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in security services, preferably within an industrial or corporate environment
- Prior experience in the military, police, or specialized security services is a distinct advantage
- Strong physical fitness, alertness, and high levels of personal integrity and discipline
- Good verbal and written communication skills with strong observation abilities
- Familiarity with modern security systems, including CCTV and access control
