About the Role
Nutri K Limited is dedicated to the fight against malnutrition in Nigeria, specializing in the manufacturing of specialized nutritional foods for children. We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager (Extrusion) to lead our manufacturing operations at NutriK FZE. In this vital role, you will oversee all production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in alignment with demand forecasts and business objectives.
- Supervise and coordinate production teams, fostering teamwork, discipline, and continuous capability development.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety standards including HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000, as well as company HSE policies.
- Monitor manufacturing processes, control production costs, optimize yields, and minimize waste and rework.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance to address deviations and with Maintenance to ensure optimal equipment uptime and preventive maintenance.
- Analyze production data, track KPIs, and submit comprehensive performance reports to management.
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in food manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience operating HMI operating systems.
- Strong expertise in extrusion processes, production planning, and resource optimization.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and ERP systems.
