About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of outsourcing, technical staffing, and consultancy services to the Nigerian oil and gas sector. We are currently looking for a dedicated Security Advisor to safeguard our personnel, assets, facilities, and business operations against evolving security threats and risks. In this critical role, you will champion security awareness, oversee emergency preparedness, and maintain compliance with industry best practices across all our work locations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive security risk and threat assessments for company facilities, projects, and personnel movements.
- Develop, review, and implement robust security management plans, contingency procedures, and travel security guidelines.
- Liaise effectively with government security agencies, law enforcement authorities, and contracted security providers.
- Monitor access control systems, CCTV networks, and local security environments to identify emerging vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate emergency response activities, crisis management drills, and security investigations involving incidents or breaches.
- Deliver impactful security awareness briefings and training sessions to employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminology, Intelligence Studies, Risk Management, Law, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant security experience within the oil and gas, energy, marine, or high-risk industries (or equivalent military experience in field operations).
- Relevant professional security or risk management certifications will be a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in threat assessment, incident management, investigations, and security contractor supervision.
- Exceptional report-writing, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
