About the Role
Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified business conglomerate, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sectional Head, Instrumentation to join our world-class team in Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee all instrumentation activities within the Cement Mills and Additive Transport division, driving efficiency, safety, and operational excellence across our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Review and optimize instrumentation equipment maintenance projections, schedules, and preventive maintenance programs for Cement Mills and Additive Transport.
- Monitor the effectiveness of maintenance procedures, evaluate rework instances, and implement actionable improvements.
- Enforce strict compliance with safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and company policies within the instrumentation department.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and continuous professional development for instrumentation personnel.
- Manage complex instrumentation systems, ensuring maximum equipment reliability and optimal plant availability for continuous production.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of hands-on operating experience in industrial maintenance practices, with at least three (3) years in a management position.
- In-depth technical knowledge of Cement Mills and Additive Transport operations and maintenance.
- Proven expertise in VRM system operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Advanced understanding of MV and LV drives operation and maintenance standards.
