We are currently seeking a dedicated and innovative Secondary School Physics Teacher to join our esteemed faculty. Operating an integrated Nigerian-British curriculum, our academy is committed to academic excellence, character building, and holistic student development from Creche up to Senior Secondary School.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Physics lesson plans tailored to diverse student learning needs.
- Integrate practical laboratory experiments to enhance students' empirical understanding of physics concepts.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through continuous assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, academic grades, and overall development.
- Collaborate closely with fellow faculty members, department heads, and school administration to refine instructional strategies.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians regarding student academic milestones and areas for improvement.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and professional development workshops.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc (Ed), or B.Sc in Physics or a related physical science discipline.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of verified secondary school teaching experience within an integrated Nigerian-British curriculum environment.
- Proven ability to conduct safe and effective science laboratory practicals for senior secondary students.
- Strong alignment with Christian values and principles upheld by the institution.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
