About the Role
Distinct Star Schools was founded on the firm belief that every child is a star and that our job is to create the right environment for our stars to shine. Starting as a crèche in January 2010, Distinct Star has expanded to include a primary and an international college with modern learning spaces. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Physics Teacher to join our dynamic team and deliver exceptional science education.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver comprehensive, engaging Physics lessons that align with the approved curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Develop robust lesson plans and teaching materials to foster critical thinking and practical understanding among students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment.
- Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school management to support holistic student development.
- Integrate basic ICT tools into daily teaching and administrative tasks to enhance learning outcomes.
- Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Education (B.Ed.), PGDE, or a related field with a strong academic background in Physics.
- Proven experience teaching Physics at the secondary school level with a track record of excellent academic results.
- Strong lesson planning, delivery, and classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff.
- Proficiency in basic ICT tools for digital teaching and student record-keeping.
