We are currently seeking a dedicated and innovative Secondary School Chemistry Teacher to join our vibrant academic community. Operating an integrated Nigerian-British curriculum, our school is committed to academic excellence, character development, and holistic student growth from early years up to Senior Secondary School.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Chemistry lesson plans tailored to diverse student learning needs.
- Integrate practical laboratory experiments to enhance understanding and foster scientific curiosity.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, practicals, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and overall academic development.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members and school administration to continuously improve instructional strategies.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians regarding student progress and welfare.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and professional development workshops.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc. (Ed), or a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline (a Master's degree or PGDE is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 3 years of proven teaching experience delivering the Nigerian and/or British curriculum at the secondary school level.
- Strong passion for teaching with exceptional classroom management and communication skills.
