In this role, you will inspire students to develop a deep appreciation for literature and master advanced English language skills while delivering a world-class international curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Read all prescribed books and additional resources thoroughly to develop engaging lesson plans and comprehensive curricula.
- Collaborate closely with the English department to formulate effective teaching strategies, departmental materials, and academic interventions.
- Prepare students comprehensively for both formal and informal academic assessments.
- Grade tests, quizzes, assignments, and examinations accurately while maintaining proactive communication with parents, students, and counselors regarding student progress.
- Organize enriching literary events, guest speaker sessions, and educational field trips to enhance the learning experience.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of advanced English topics and international curricula such as Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level.
- Demonstrated expertise in modern classroom management techniques and school administrative procedures.
- Proficiency in educational technology and computer applications to support 21st-century teaching methods.
- Current knowledge of innovative pedagogical approaches in English language instruction.
- TRCN Certification is an added advantage.
