Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Secondary School Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the academic and moral foundation of students. Your core duties will include:
- Deliver engaging, structured, and comprehensive lessons in accordance with the approved secondary school curriculum.
- Plan and prepare daily lesson notes, instructional materials, and evaluation tests.
- Maintain excellent classroom management and foster a conducive, inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Assess, grade, and track students' academic progress while providing constructive feedback for improvement.
- Monitor student behavior, attendance, and general well-being, offering guidance and pastoral support where necessary.
- Participate actively in school meetings, staff development programs, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular activities.
Candidates applying for these positions must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Possession of an NCE or a Bachelor of Science in Education (BSc Ed) in relevant disciplines.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of verifiable teaching experience in a recognized secondary school setting.
- Exceptional classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in modern teaching methodologies and basic educational technology.
- Proximity to Ayobo, Lagos, and surrounding residential areas is a distinct advantage.
