Key Responsibilities- Provide daily health services, including first aid, assessment, and basic medical care for student and staff illnesses and injuries.
- Administer prescribed medications safely and maintain accurate, confidential student medical records.
- Coordinate individualized care plans for learners with chronic health conditions or special medical needs.
- Promote school health policies, deliver basic health education, and support preventive wellness initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with school leadership, parents, guardians, and external healthcare providers to ensure holistic student care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and maintain strict adherence to child safeguarding and protection standards.
- Valid registered nurse qualification with a current practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Proven clinical experience in nursing, medicine, and pediatrics, addressing the specific health needs of children and adolescents.
- Strong background in school health and nursing practices to manage student wellness programs.
- Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and emergency response.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting is highly advantageous.
