Key Responsibilities- Provide immediate first aid and emergency medical care to students and staff members in case of illness or injury.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date student health records and accident reports.
- Administer prescribed medications and manage ongoing chronic health conditions in accordance with school policies and parental consent.
- Conduct routine health screenings, including vision, hearing, and growth assessments, and refer students for further evaluation when necessary.
- Promote health and hygiene awareness through classroom talks, workshops, and school-wide wellness campaigns.
- Ensure the school clinic is fully stocked, sanitized, and compliant with standard health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with parents, guardians, and local healthcare providers regarding student health concerns and emergency interventions.
- Possession of a relevant nursing qualification (RN, RM, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in a school or pediatric healthcare setting.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Exceptional communication, empathy, and crisis-management skills.
- Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality and professional composure under pressure.
