About the Role
Daniel Adewole Awe Medical Center (DAAMC), a trusted healthcare provider in Ilesa, Osun State, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Nurse Anesthetist to join our professional medical team. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a vital part in delivering comprehensive primary and secondary healthcare services, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort during surgical and emergency procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients closely before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate and execute patient care plans.
- Deliver advanced critical care nursing for acutely ill, unstable, or recovering patients.
- Manage emergency and acute medical cases promptly and efficiently within the facility.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date clinical documentation while adhering strictly to safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate actively in health education, community outreach programs, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Proven clinical competence in nursing and specialized training in anesthesiology and surgery.
- Strong expertise in critical care nursing and patient monitoring in primary or secondary care environments.
- Current professional registration and valid license to practice with the relevant regulatory body in Nigeria.
- Exceptional clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, including rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
- Prior experience in emergency care or community health is an added advantage.
