About the Role
FMR Agency is recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client, a reputable school located in Orisumbare, Lagos, for a dedicated and visionary School Curriculum Developer. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the academic excellence of students across Preschool, Primary, and Secondary School levels by designing robust educational frameworks and maintaining high instructional standards.
Key Responsibilities- Review, update, and enhance the school curriculum and academic learning materials.
- Develop, set, and comprehensively review test and examination questions.
- Vet examination questions and student scripts to ensure accuracy and fairness.
- Coordinate the timely preparation, production, and printing of all examination materials.
- Review teachers' academic records, lesson notes, and instructional delivery methods.
- Prepare detailed academic reports and identify strategic areas for institutional improvement.
- Follow up with teachers on assigned academic tasks to guarantee timely and quality submission.
- Collaborate effectively with educators and school management to resolve academic and curriculum challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a closely related academic discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience working within a formal school environment.
- Background as a former teacher, Head of School, Academic Coordinator, or Curriculum Developer is a strong advantage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern curriculum development, educational assessment, and examination processes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and team-collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated patience, teachability, proactive mindset, and deep dedication to educational excellence.
- High level of emotional maturity, professional problem-solving capabilities, and constructive feedback handling.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
