About the Role
Greensprings School, a leading independent day and boarding school in Lagos, is seeking a passionate and qualified School Counselor for our state-of-the-art campus on the Lekki Peninsula. In this role, you will provide comprehensive counseling and support services to our students, helping them navigate personal challenges, make informed academic choices, and develop essential life skills within a supportive community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and parents to support student development and well-being.
- Design and implement guidance programs that promote positive behavior, mental health, and personal growth.
- Assist students with career exploration, goal setting, and academic pathway planning.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with school policies and professional ethics.
- Organize workshops and seminars for students and parents on relevant adolescent development topics.
- First degree in Guidance and Counseling or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional counseling experience, preferably within a reputable school environment.
- Must reside within the Ajah-Epe axis of Lagos for easy commute to the campus.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
