About the Role

Millie's British International School (MBIS) is dedicated to building a strong foundation for every child by following the British Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. We are currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented School Administrative Officer to ensure the seamless daily operation of our front office and deliver exceptional administrative support across the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff, and visitors, maintaining a professional and organized front-office environment.
  • Manage visitor reception and access procedures strictly in line with school safeguarding and operational protocols.
  • Handle incoming enquiries professionally, providing accurate information and directing matters to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate pupil attendance, punctuality, and absence records with timely follow-ups.
  • Provide robust administrative support to the School Operations Manager, keeping school records and documentation organized and updated.
  • Coordinate school calendars, notice boards, and internal communications to ensure information is current and well-presented.
  • Support the planning and execution of school meetings, events, and related activities.
Qualifications
  • Possess a Degree or HND in Business Administration, Office Management, Education Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-NYSC administrative experience, ideally within an educational or professional services setting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a mature, polished, and confident demeanor.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, digital systems, databases, and general office technology.
  • Demonstrate clear and legible handwriting for maintaining physical records.
  • Proactive, dependable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
