About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our growing team in Nigeria and optimize our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to support business growth and profitability goals.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with local and international suppliers and vendors.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing holding costs and waste.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and supply chain bottlenecks to make informed procurement decisions.
- Collaborate closely with retail operations, logistics, and sales teams to align purchasing schedules with store demands.
- Maintain comprehensive supplier performance metrics and ensure strict adherence to quality and compliance standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the retail or FMCG sector.
- Demonstrated strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and enterprise resource planning systems.
