About the Role
Glory Lucas Foundation is seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to join our Scholarship & Child Development Team. Our mission is to transform mental health care and empower communities in Nigeria through targeted initiatives that integrate education, advocacy, and sustainable support systems. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping programs that enhance the educational opportunities and holistic well-being of children, fostering a more inclusive and equitable future for the next generation.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and manage scholarship programs and child development initiatives aligned with the foundation's strategic goals.
- Assess applications, select deserving candidates, and maintain comprehensive records of beneficiaries.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including schools and community leaders, to expand outreach.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of scholarship recipients, providing mentorship and developmental guidance.
- Organize workshops, advocacy campaigns, and events focused on child welfare, education, and mental health awareness.
- Prepare regular reports detailing program impact, challenges, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience working in child development, education management, or non-profit program coordination.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian educational landscape and community engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to connect with diverse groups.
