About the Role

Promasidor, a pioneer in bringing affordable, high-quality nutrition to millions across Africa with iconic brands like Cowbell, is looking for a results-driven Sales Territory Coordinator to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this pivotal field-sales role, you will oversee day-to-day depot operations, supervise route-to-market activities, and collaborate closely with our sales teams to maximize brand visibility, stock availability, and revenue growth across your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive daily engagement on customer performance reviews with Sales Territory Executives.
  • Manage day-to-day sales operations of the depot, including all depot assets and secondary sales vans.
  • Monitor and manage product stock levels to prevent stockouts, expirations, and obsolete inventory.
  • Oversee stock returns to ensure strict compliance with company return policies.
  • Liaise with insurance providers to secure 100% inventory cover for the assigned depot.
  • Manage depot operating costs in strict alignment with company guidelines and budgets.
  • Ensure full compliance with company credit exposure policies for all distributors.
  • Lead quarterly distributor health-check reviews to improve overall partner performance.
  • Record, investigate, and report all safety incidents and near misses within the depot.
  • Analyze and report Month-to-Date and Year-to-Date sales metrics by depot, category, brand, and SKU to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Optimize route plans to ensure complete market coverage and maximum customer capture.
  • Enforce price compliance across the territory and monitor competitor activities.
  • Supervise route-to-market personnel, including Sales Territory Executives, Order Management Sales Representatives, and Van Sales Representatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of cumulative field sales experience, preferably within a multinational FMCG environment.
  • Strong business acumen with exceptional organization and strategic planning abilities.
  • Proficient in numerical and analytical problem-solving with strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
