About the Role
Ignite Energy Access is an Abu Dhabi-based leader in distributed renewable energy solutions, dedicated to providing affordable, reliable, and sustainable electricity to underserved communities across Africa. Operating across 12 countries and serving over 15 million people, we are transforming lives and driving the continent's clean energy transition. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Team Lead to join our Mysol team in Gombe and Yobe.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and oversee a minimum of 20 active sales agents monthly to achieve performance targets.
- Manage the sales pipeline for Mysol products across the designated territory.
- Supervise financial transactions, ensure timely remittance, and take ownership of credit follow-ups and collections.
- Oversee company tools of trade, support inventory audits, and optimize allocated budgets for market expansion.
- Formulate and execute operational sales strategies in alignment with regional business targets.
- Lead field sales activities, provide continuous coaching, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Minimum of a National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of related sales experience, with mandatory prior experience in selling solar products.
- Must reside in Gombe or Yobe.
- Possession of a car or motorbike for mobility is a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, and organizational competencies.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Hausa.
