About the Role
Ignite Energy Access is an Abu Dhabi-based leader in distributed renewable energy solutions, dedicated to providing affordable, reliable, and sustainable electricity to underserved communities across Africa. Operating in 12 countries and serving over 15 million people, we are transforming lives and driving the continent’s clean energy transition. As part of our expanding Mysol Sales Team in Nigeria, we are looking for a driven Sales Team Lead to support and enable frontline sales agents to sell solar products efficiently and responsibly within the Udi and Nkanu territories of Enugu State.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and oversee a minimum of 10 active sales agents monthly to build a high-performing field team.
- Drive sales of Mysol solar products to potential and new customers across Udi and Nkanu.
- Coordinate and lead field sales activities to consistently meet sales targets while maintaining strict quality standards.
- Train agents on effective pitching, sales conversations, deal closing, and customer relationship management.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve agent productivity.
- Supervise sales transactions and ensure timely cash remittances in accordance with company policy.
- Manage credit follow-ups, collections, and credit control for credit-based sales initiatives.
- Support monthly inventory audits and properly manage company tools of trade.
- Utilize allocated budgets strategically to maximize sales volume and regional market expansion.
- Execute localized sales strategies aligned with targets established by the Regional Business Manager.
- ND, HND, or B.Sc degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of proven sales experience, with prior experience selling solar energy products considered a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities with a talent for motivating others.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Must currently reside in or possess deep familiarity with Udi and Nkanu in Enugu State.
