About the Role
Street Souk, Africa's premier streetwear convention and fashion festival based in Lagos, Nigeria, is seeking dynamic and energetic Sales Representatives to join our team. In this exciting role, you will be the face of our brand during our flagship December convention, engaging with a vibrant community of fashion enthusiasts, tastemakers, and creators. Key Responsibilities- Drive daily sales across the official Street Souk store and assigned vendor booths throughout the convention.
- Engage actively with customers, confidently communicating product features, brand heritage, and pricing.
- Process cash and digital payments accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
- Maintain visually appealing product displays and ensure sales areas remain organized and hazard-free.
- Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, and promptly flag low-stock items or discrepancies.
- Provide personalized styling advice and assist customers with product selections and general inquiries.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets during the event.
- Previous hands-on experience in retail sales, fashion merchandising, or customer service is a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with people.
- Confident, energetic, and fiercely customer-focused demeanor.
- High stamina and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment.
- Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy in handling financial transactions and inventory.
- Must be fully available to work throughout the duration of the December convention in Victoria Island, Lagos.
