We are looking for an ambitious and commercially astute Sales/Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between technical requirements and commercial execution, driving business growth through strategic client relationship management, accurate tendering, and efficient global procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue lucrative business opportunities within the Nigerian Oil, Gas, Energy, and Industrial sectors.
- Develop and nurture robust relationships with corporate clients, original equipment manufacturers, and key industry stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and competitive tender submissions.
- Source specialized technical equipment, materials, and industrial services from reputable local and international suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier quotations and expertly negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate end-to-end procurement activities from initial requisition to final site delivery and inspection.
- Review and interpret complex technical specifications, engineering drawings, and equipment datasheets.
- Liaise seamlessly with internal engineering, logistics, and operations teams to guarantee timely project execution.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in technical sales, procurement, supply chain management, or engineering support.
- Prior working experience within an EPC, Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, or Industrial Services environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in international sourcing, vendor management, and complex tender bid preparation.
- Strong working knowledge of shipping documentation, logistics, and standard supply chain workflows.
- Exceptional negotiation, written communication, and interpersonal stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise resource planning software.
