About the Role
Seed Co Nigeria Limited is a premier agricultural input provider and joint venture between Seed West Africa Limited and Saro AgroSciences Limited. We are looking for a dedicated and analytical Sales Node Account Officer to join our dynamic finance team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be pivotal in maintaining financial accuracy, managing inventory, and ensuring seamless sales node operations.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and confirm sales inflows, customer payments, and match inflows accurately with sales invoices.
- Reconcile credit sales, receivables, and prepayments while timing stock retrieval effectively.
- Capture daily sales data promptly on Excel and ERP systems (Sage/Lionheart) and process returns.
- Manage monthly node expenditures, petty cash, and assist with statutory remittances and compliance.
- Conduct regular physical stock-taking, reconcile with system records, and update stock cards.
- Verify quality and quantity of supplied stock against delivery notes and monitor reorder levels.
- Perform daily bank remittances, manage cash positions, and coordinate vendor and customer communications.
- Support internal and external audits and generate monthly node profitability reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related financial discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven working experience in accounting, inventory management, or sales administration.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Candidates must reside in or be thoroughly familiar with the target location.
