About the Role
Skipper Eye-Q Speciality Eye Hospital, a renowned international eye care provider with a global chain presence, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Ancillary Business unit in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead revenue generation across surgical procedures, optical sales, and pharmacy services while fostering a culture of high performance and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for cataract, retina, glaucoma, and refractive surgeries, alongside optical and pharmacy sales.
- Monitor and improve patient conversion rates by collaborating closely with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and procedure counsellors to eliminate treatment barriers.
- Manage inventory movement, merchandising, and pricing strategies to increase average transaction values in the optical department.
- Maximize prescription fulfilment rates and minimize product leakage within the hospital pharmacy.
- Build and strengthen strategic B2B partnerships with HMOs, corporate organizations, NGOs, and referral doctors.
- Lead, train, and supervise sales executives, business development officers, and procedure counsellors.
- Ensure ethical selling practices, regulatory compliance, and seamless collaboration with finance and marketing teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline; an MBA is an added advantage.
- 5 to 8 years of proven sales or business development experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, optical retail, or medical devices.
- Strong proficiency in sales forecasting, CRM software, data analysis, and hospital operational workflows.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and strategic thinking capabilities with an unwavering commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
