We are currently seeking a friendly, efficient, and detail-oriented Sales Person and Storekeeper to join our dynamic team in Benin City, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate inventory and financial reconciliation for our school store.
Key Responsibilities- Greet students, staff, and visitors in a warm, welcoming, and professional manner.
- Accurately count, record, and reconcile items and cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Process purchases efficiently, bag items, and provide accurate receipts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store and sales area.
- Assist with routine stock-taking, inventory management, and audits as required.
- Collaborate seamlessly with team members to ensure smooth daily operations during peak hours.
- BSc, HND, or Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
- Previous professional experience as a cashier, sales representative, or storekeeper in a retail environment.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers.
- Exceptional numeracy skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle basic calculations accurately.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a supportive demeanor.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proximity to the school location in Benin City will be an added advantage.
