About the Role
Sancare Biomedical Limited, a leading healthcare equipment and service provider across Africa, is looking for a results-driven Sales Engineer to expand our market presence in Nigeria. In this role, you will champion our portfolio of biochemistry analyzers and clinical chemistry reagents, delivering exceptional value to hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and medical institutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong, lasting customer relationships with hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and medical institutions across Nigeria.
- Promote state-of-the-art clinical chemistry reagents and biochemistry analyzers to key decision-makers.
- Conduct impactful customer visits, product presentations, and hands-on demonstrations.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, including following up on quotations, purchase orders, and timely payments.
- Provide technical support for analyzer installation, basic troubleshooting, and comprehensive customer training.
- Deliver exceptional after-sales support to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Gather critical market intelligence and competitor insights to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate closely with the BSBE China team to strategize and execute Nigerian market growth initiatives.
- BSc or HND in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in IVD, laboratory diagnostics, medical equipment, or diagnostic reagents.
- Solid understanding of clinical chemistry and general laboratory workflows.
- Demonstrated experience with biochemistry analyzers and chemistry reagents is highly preferred.
- Existing professional relationships with diagnostic labs, hospitals, distributors, or laboratory managers in Nigeria represent a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with major systems such as Mindray, Dirui, Urit, Zybio, Genrui, Bioelab, or Hitachi chemistry systems is a distinct plus.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Nigeria as required.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and consistently achieve sales targets.
