About the Role

We are currently looking for a results-driven Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Nigeria and drive our construction chemicals portfolio to new heights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets for construction chemical products.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across contractors, consultants, developers, distributors, and other construction industry stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry decision-makers through regular site visits.
  • Provide technical presentations, product demonstrations, and application guidance to customers and site teams.
  • Manage opportunities from specification through procurement and final application, engaging architects and engineers.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial presentations while monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with technical and supply chain teams to resolve customer issues and conduct product trials.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, project database, and ensure effective follow-up on orders and payments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is strictly required.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in technical sales, construction chemicals, building materials, or a related industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction chemicals such as waterproofing systems, concrete admixtures, and sealants is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and understand project specifications.
  • Strong technical, commercial, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or ERP systems.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively to customer locations and construction sites.
