About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder Foreman to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily welding operations, ensure adherence to the highest industry standards, and lead a team of talented welding professionals to achieve optimal project outcomes in a demanding engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily welding, hard-facing, and fabrication activities on-site.
  • Allocate daily tasks and coordinate welders and support personnel effectively.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings, technical specifications, and welding procedures.
  • Ensure strict compliance with API, BSI, ASME, and AWS quality standards.
  • Inspect weld quality, dimensional accuracy, and finished assemblies.
  • Enforce rigorous Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols across all operations.
  • Manage welding equipment, raw materials, and tools efficiently to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
  • Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior welders and workshop staff.
  • Prepare comprehensive progress reports and proactively resolve operational challenges.
Qualifications
  • SSCE with a minimum of 2 years of technical experience, OR an ND/SSCE with at least 8 years of specialized Hard-Facing welding experience.
  • Possession of a recognized Welding Certificate is compulsory.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced welding tools, cutting equipment, and fixtures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and team coordination skills.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and work safely in demanding industrial environments.
