About the Role
TopShelf Global Limited is a dynamic Lagos-based consumer goods company building a portfolio of premium African brands, anchored by our flagship virgin-pulp bath tissue brand, PURIQUE. We are currently seeking a driven, commercially minded Sales and Business Development Executive to expand our market footprint across Lagos. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, opening doors, closing deals, and forging strong relationships to accelerate our early-stage commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across B2B, wholesale, retail, and institutional channels.
- Pitch and onboard distributors, hotels, corporate offices, facilities managers, and retail outlets.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline from initial contact to successful deal closure.
- Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly volume and revenue targets.
- Represent the PURIQUE brand with professionalism in alignment with our premium market positioning.
- Submit weekly reports covering market activity, pipeline status, and valuable customer feedback.
- Collaborate closely with the COO to ensure sales efforts align seamlessly with production and distribution capacity.
- 2 to 4 years of proven sales or business development experience within FMCG, consumer goods, or hospitality supply.
- Demonstrated ability to independently prospect, open new accounts, and close profitable deals.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated professional capable of operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Existing network and relationships within Lagos retail, hospitality, or facilities management sectors.
- Genuine passion for contributing to the foundational growth of an emerging consumer brand.
