About the Role
Stretchit Concept Limited is currently recruiting a dynamic and reliable Sales Assistant to join a thriving community pharmacy located in Ogba, Lagos. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our establishment, ensuring that every customer enjoys a seamless and professional shopping experience from the moment they walk in until they check out. We are looking for an honest, organized, and energetic individual eager to build a career in retail pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Process diverse customer payments including cash, bank transfers, and card transactions.
- Issue correct billing, print receipts, and balance cash drawers at the end of every shift.
- Greet customers warmly, manage queues professionally, and minimize waiting times.
- Direct professional medication or product inquiries to the qualified pharmacist on duty.
- Verify correct pricing and quantities during checkout and report discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with basic stock reconciliation and maintain precise transaction records.
- Adhere strictly to cash-handling policies and maintain customer confidentiality.
- Keep the checkout counter and front desk area clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from a recognized institution.
- Strong numeracy skills with proven accuracy in cash-handling and calculations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high levels of personal integrity.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Prior experience as a retail cashier or sales assistant is an added advantage.
- Proximity to Ogba, Agege, Ikeja, and surrounding Lagos areas is strongly preferred.
