About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Dojo Training Coordinator to join our HSE team and drive safety excellence across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and company standards for facility design, operation, and abandonment
- Provide comprehensive Safety Engineering support on internal and contractor-led studies during Basic and Detailed Engineering phases
- Conduct periodic updates of facility Safety Concepts and review all safety-related modifications to existing facilities
- Lead Safety Engineering studies including HAZOP, HAZID, and BowTie assessments for Request for Modification processes
- Perform flammable and toxic gas dispersion, fire, and explosion consequence modeling using PHAST software
- Undertake Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) assessment and assignment for Safety Instrumented Systems
- Develop and maintain Operational Safety Case documentation in compliance with NUPRC regulatory requirements
- Facilitate Safety and Environmental Critical Element (SECE) identification workshops
- Lead major risk identification, develop risk reduction measures, and monitor implementation compliance
- Support process safety initiatives across Engineering, Construction, Projects, and Operational entities
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Petroleum, or related Engineering (Master's in Safety Engineering preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of oil and gas industry experience, with at least 5 years in a Safety & Loss Prevention Engineering role
- Strong knowledge of Loss Prevention standards, major hazard legislation, and risk assessment techniques
- Proficiency in HAZOP, HAZID, HAZAN, QRA, and other safety review methodologies
- Excellent investigation, observation, and communication skills with strong organizational capabilities
- Autonomous approach to work with demonstrated effectiveness in managing complex safety-critical projects
