About the Role
Seven Up Bottling Company is a globally recognized leader in the beverage industry, known for iconic brands and a culture of innovation and excellence. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Maintenance Technician Team Lead to join our dynamic engineering team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in maximizing equipment availability, minimizing downtime, and driving high standards of safety and operational efficiency across our production lines.
Key Responsibilities- Allocate maintenance tasks to technicians and supervise execution to ensure compliance with company instructions.
- Enforce strict safety, health, and environment (SHE) policies during all maintenance operations.
- Drive preventive maintenance programs to reduce emergency breakdowns and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
- Manage spare parts inventory, tools, and maintenance materials efficiently.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to enhance performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Implement and maintain 5S, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and basic cycle maintenance principles.
- Plan and control weekly maintenance budgets while collaborating closely with production and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant hands-on operations and maintenance experience within the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of bottling operations and modern maintenance strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in people management, coaching, and stakeholder engagement.
- Good understanding of HQSE modalities, GMP, and 5S standards.
