About the Role
Prestigious Consulting Group, a global staffing agency located in Lagos, is seeking a talented and delivery-focused SaaS Product Manager. In this role, you will oversee the continued development, completion, and launch of a transformative digital platform designed to connect African researchers, innovators, and businesses to essential mentorship, funding, and commercialisation opportunities. With product development already underway and an existing team of developers and designers in place, you will take ownership of the current product state, establish clear delivery priorities, and coordinate the team toward a successful Minimum Viable Product (MVP) launch.
Key Responsibilities- Review existing product documentation, roadmaps, and completed features to identify gaps, dependencies, and delivery risks.
- Translate business requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage the product backlog, sprint planning, and daily delivery tracking using tools like Jira or Trello.
- Coordinate functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect tracking with the development team.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure features deliver a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Provide regular updates, roadmaps, and delivery metrics to support stakeholder alignment and fundraising activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant Product Management experience, with a strong background in delivering SaaS solutions.
- Proven track record of taking an MVP or major product release from development through testing and deployment.
- Strong practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog prioritisation, and sprint management.
- Proficiency with modern product management tools such as Jira, Linear, Trello, or Asana.
- Exceptional analytical, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
