About the Role
Singapore View Hotel and Suites is a premier hospitality destination located in Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State. We are committed to providing exceptional guest experiences, luxurious accommodations, and top-tier customer service. We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Room Service Attendant to join our dedicated hospitality team and ensure our guests receive prompt and courteous in-room dining services.
Key Responsibilities- Take guest food and beverage orders accurately via telephone and in-person, offering helpful suggestions when appropriate.
- Prepare room service trays and carts with proper cutlery, condiments, napkins, and dishes according to hotel standards.
- Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms in a timely, professional, and courteous manner, ensuring correct placement within the room.
- Retrieve used room service trays, carts, and tableware from guest rooms and hallways in a timely fashion to maintain hotel cleanliness.
- Check guest bills for accuracy and process charges to guest room accounts or handle payments in compliance with hotel policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service station, pantry, and storage areas.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, or complaints with a positive and problem-solving attitude.
- Possession of an OND, HND, or relevant certification in Hospitality Management, Catering, or a related field.
- Previous working experience as a Room Service Attendant, Waiter, Waitress, or in a similar hospitality role is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain high energy in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Residency in or proximity to Nnewi, Anambra State, is an added advantage.
