We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Road / Earthwork Supervisor to oversee and direct on-site earthmoving, road construction, and civil earthwork operations for our expanding infrastructure projects in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise daily earthwork and road construction activities, including excavation, embankment filling, grading, sub-grade preparation, and paving support.
  • Coordinate the deployment, movement, and optimal utilization of heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, and compactors.
  • Ensure all construction lines, levels, grades, and slopes strictly conform to approved engineering drawings and surveyor markings.
  • Monitor soil moisture levels, compaction density, and layer thickness to meet rigorous engineering test standards and prevent substandard material usage.
  • Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines across all active earthwork zones and maintain hazard-free traffic management layouts.
  • Maintain comprehensive daily site logs detailing weather, equipment deployment, material deliveries, and workforce attendance while reporting outputs to management.

Qualifications
  • Possess an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Trade Test/Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on site supervision experience in road construction, civil earthworks, asphalt paving, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Deep technical understanding of heavy machinery operations and the ability to accurately interpret civil engineering drawings and survey pegs.
  • Strong leadership, crew management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent physical fitness and resilience to thrive in demanding field and weather conditions.
