We are currently seeking a dynamic and seasoned Road Construction Manager with specialized expertise in bituminous and asphalt road works to oversee major infrastructure developments in Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will drive operational excellence, manage complex site activities, and ensure that our road construction projects meet the highest international engineering and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end bituminous and asphalt road construction projects from inception to completion.
- Supervise specialized operations including bitumen carpeting, asphalt paving, laying, and compaction.
- Ensure stringent quality control measures are maintained and adhere strictly to project specifications and safety regulations.
- Manage site resources, equipment, machinery, and multidisciplinary manpower efficiently to optimize productivity.
- Monitor daily project progress, oversee comprehensive reporting, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure timely project completion within approved budgetary frameworks and quality parameters.
- Minimum of 20 years of proven experience in road construction, rehabilitation, and specifically bituminous road works.
- Extensive expertise in asphalt mix design, laying, compaction, and bitumen carpeting operations.
- Demonstrated capability in site execution, strategic planning, and large-scale project supervision.
- Strong command of quality control protocols, material testing, and technical documentation.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team management skills with the ability to guide diverse engineering teams.
