About the Role
Rosabon Financial Services Limited, Nigeria's premier financial intermediary and equipment leasing firm and a proud subsidiary of Concept Group Nigeria, is expanding its Risk Management team. We are looking for an experienced Risk Strategist - Recovery to leverage data, advanced analytics, and strategic thinking to minimize credit losses, strengthen our credit portfolio, and drive informed business decisions across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive recovery, settlement, and restructuring strategies to optimize portfolio quality.
- Analyze the root causes of customer defaults and portfolio losses to inform future lending guidelines.
- Recommend effective settlement, loan restructuring, and legal recovery approaches based on rigorous financial data.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal teams, external recovery agents, and internal stakeholders to streamline debt recovery.
- Provide actionable insights and predictive analytics that continuously improve future lending and credit risk decisions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5 to 8 years of proven professional experience in Loan Recovery, Credit Risk, Loan Restructuring, or Portfolio Management.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and high-level negotiation skills with a deep understanding of the Nigerian financial landscape.
- Prior working experience in banking, fintech, or non-banking financial services is strongly preferred.
