About the Role
Foteino Talento is an HR consultancy firm and co-working space based in Victoria Island, Lagos. Through our specialized hospitality and retail recruitment division, we partner with top lifestyle brands to connect them with exceptional leadership talent. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Manager to oversee our client's retail operations, lead a talented team of sales professionals, and drive profitability while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily store operations to achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Supervise, mentor, coach, and schedule retail staff to foster a high-performance culture.
- Deliver an outstanding shopping experience and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock control, and coordinate timely stock replenishment.
- Ensure excellent visual merchandising standards and pristine store presentation at all times.
- Prepare comprehensive sales, inventory, and performance reports for senior management.
- Collaborate closely with operations and production teams to ensure optimal product availability.
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in retail operations.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a retail environment.
- Prior experience in the fashion, fabric, lifestyle, or luxury retail industry is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills for inventory management and sales reporting.
