About the Role

The Federal University of Allied Health Sciences Enugu (FUAHSE) was established on March 14, 2024, with the mandate to improve the healthcare needs of Nigerians and increase manpower output in the sector. Evolving from the former Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy, the university has rapidly expanded into six faculties and 17 departments. To support our mission of training innovative, skilled, and proactive professionals in allied health sciences, we are currently seeking a qualified and dynamic candidate to join our team as a Higher Trade Officer I.

As a Higher Trade Officer I at FUAHSE, you will play a crucial role in the administration and execution of trade-related operations and departmental projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and coordinating trade-related activities within the university to ensure efficiency and high standards.
• Collaborating with academic and administrative departments to support institutional infrastructure and operational needs.
• Maintaining accurate records of tools, materials, and equipment utilized in trade operations.
• Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, university policies, and industry best practices.
• Assisting in the training and mentoring of junior technical staff and students where applicable.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the university management to support institutional development.

Applicants for the Higher Trade Officer I position must meet the following criteria:

• Must possess relevant academic and professional qualifications in a related field from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated practical experience in trade operations, technical services, or a similar administrative role.
• Strong ability to demonstrate competence, high integrity, and excellent communication skills.
