About the Role
Kinky Apothecary, Nigeria's pioneer one-stop natural hair company, is rapidly expanding and seeking a dedicated, Lagos-based Retail Associate to join our vibrant team at the Lekki Salon and Retail Store. We are on a mission to disrupt conformity and champion a science-driven approach to African haircare, celebrating beauty rooted in culture. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional shopping experiences, supporting store operations, and promoting our innovative product lines.
Key Responsibilities- Assist customers with product selection and provide informed, personalized recommendations
- Drive retail sales and actively cross-sell products alongside salon services
- Maintain pristine product displays, merchandising standards, and overall store presentation
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and flag replenishment needs
- Process retail transactions accurately and maintain up-to-date sales and stock records
- At least one year of relevant retail, sales, or customer service experience
- Familiarity with the beauty industry and natural hair products is an advantage but not mandatory
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Natural people person who is honest, reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting product inventory
- Competitive net monthly salary between NGN 220,000 and NGN 250,000
