About the Role
YellowDoor Hotels is a premier boutique hotel chain located in Abuja, Nigeria, offering luxury accommodations and top-tier amenities for business executives and leisure travelers. At the heart of our dining experience is The Living Room, a multi-functional restaurant and bar celebrating rich local and regional flavors. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Restaurant Supervisor to maintain our high standards of service, lead our front-of-house team, and drive operational excellence across all rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise wait staff, runners, and cleaners across rotating morning, afternoon, and night shifts to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Set and inspect table layouts meticulously before the first cover lands during each service.
- Monitor floor pace and service quality, providing real-time coaching and constructive feedback to staff.
- Handle guest complaints with tact and speed, resolving issues on the spot before escalation.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen team regarding order timing, special dietary requests, and cross-departmental operations.
- Conduct engaging pre-service briefings and submit comprehensive daily operational reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.
- 1 to 2 years of proven experience in formal dining floor management or restaurant supervision.
- Demonstrated expertise in guest complaint resolution and service pace management.
- Strong capabilities in pre-shift briefings, team readiness, and staff accountability.
- Familiarity with table management, cover pacing, and staff performance documentation.
- Prior experience in a boutique or luxury hotel restaurant setting is strongly preferred.
