About the Role
Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Resort Manager to lead daily operations and drive commercial growth while upholding our core values of excellence, sustainability, and exceptional hospitality. You will be responsible for the overall administration and profitability of our prestigious resort in Abeokuta.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure smooth daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, and maximize overall resort profitability.
- Oversee all resort departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Maintenance, and Security.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and aesthetics while effectively resolving guest complaints and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase occupancy rates, revenue streams, and financial performance.
- Prepare comprehensive budgets, monitor operational expenses, and exercise strict cost control.
- Review financial reports and operational metrics regularly to guide business decisions.
- Foster a positive, professional, and guest-focused work culture among all staff members.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the resort and enhance our online presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and travel industry partners.
- Oversee weddings, corporate events, and group bookings to optimize revenue generation.
- Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master degree or MBA will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in hotel or resort management, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and people management skills.
- Proven track record in delivering outstanding guest service and operational excellence.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite and hotel management software.
- Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Abeokuta, Ogun State.
