Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a wide variety of local and continental dishes in accordance with hotel standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control for all meals served.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-organized kitchen workspace, including equipment and storage areas.
- Monitor food inventory levels and report shortages to management promptly to prevent stockouts.
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen and hospitality staff to ensure smooth dining operations.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional cooking experience within a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency and passion for preparing diverse local Nigerian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety standards, food handling, and hygiene protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively in a busy kitchen.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously within a team.
