About the Role
Blue Apple Hotel, located in Awoyaya, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, in strategic partnership with Wertvoll Consulting Services, is seeking a competent, passionate, and service-driven Reservation Officer to join its dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring seamless booking experiences and exceptional customer satisfaction from the initial inquiry to the final checkout.
Key Responsibilities- Manage incoming room reservations, inquiries, and booking modifications efficiently via phone, email, and online booking channels.
- Handle guest allocations, room assignments, and special requests with precision and high attention to detail.
- Coordinate closely with the front desk and housekeeping teams to ensure room availability matches guest arrivals and departures.
- Process payments, deposits, and billing inquiries accurately while adhering to established hotel financial policies.
- Maintain comprehensive records of bookings, cancellations, and no-shows to generate accurate daily and weekly occupancy reports.
- Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service to resolve any guest complaints or reservation discrepancies.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Reservation Officer, Front Desk Agent, or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role.
- Strong proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a polished and professional telephone etiquette.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with the capacity to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Residency in or around Ibeju-Lekki, Awoyaya, or surrounding areas of Lagos is a strong advantage.
