About the Role
Farm City Abuja is a premier 24-hour hospitality and lifestyle brand located in Wuse 2, Abuja, offering a vibrant mix of restaurant, lounge, café, bar, and game arcade experiences. We are currently seeking dedicated and energetic individuals to join our dynamic team as Waiter, Waitress, or Waitstaff. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest enjoys our signature blend of Nigerian and continental dishes, beverages, and leisure activities in a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, presenting menus and offering knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage options.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly, relaying them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff using the point-of-sale system.
- Serve orders efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve minor complaints professionally, and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and station setups before, during, and after service hours.
- Process payments accurately and adhere strictly to all company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
- Minimum of OND, SSCE, or relevant academic qualification in hospitality management or a related field.
- Proven previous experience working as a waiter, waitress, or waitstaff in a busy restaurant, hotel, bar, lounge, or entertainment center.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills with a naturally customer-centric approach.
- Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment while standing and walking for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork capabilities, high attention to detail, and a smart, professional personal appearance.
